After the recently birth to my second baby a friend gave me a set of Mums Cards as a gift. They detail the names and birthdays of my kids along with my contact details. Having recently left the workforce I am spending a lot of time re-establishing ties with friends who are stay at home mums and establishing new relationships with other mothers at day care and in the local area. I have founds the Mums Cards invaluable. I also put a Mums Card in my 2 year old son's pocket and in his backpack when I go to shopping centres and other public places just in case he gets lost (which he is prone to do).

After seeing the photo cards a family friend had with her grandkids photos, we thought they would be a great gift idea for both our mums for Christmas.  My parents had just moved to Sydney so it is the perfect way to show off their grandchildren and give people their new details at the same time.  My husbands parents had just become grandparents for the first time and these are a novel way for them to celebrate their new little grandson.
